How to Post an Event on Across The Globe (ATG) ?
Across The Globe (ATG) provides a platform for the event organisers to post details about an event or a meetup with a group. This helps them to reach out to more number of people and also provides better visibility to their work. In order to post an event or a meetup on Across The Globe (ATG), it is necessary for the event organisers to signup to ATG using the website and then select a relevant Group related to the profession. This feature has not been implemented in the android mobile app. The following steps should be followed in order to post an event on ATG:
To post events on Across The Globe (ATG) website
- Go to www.atg.world.
- Login to the website.
- In the homepage, click on the Write a Post link.
- Select the option Event from the drop-down.
- If you are using the mobile to access the website, click on the
fab and tap on the Event option.
- Enter the title of the event in the Title field.
- Fill in the details of the event in the Description field.
- Upload a cover image for the event.
- Enter the details in the Name, Phone, Email and Venue fields.
- Click on the Add Cost Details button.
- In the modal that appears, select whether the event is Free or Paid.
- If the option Free is selected, the button changes to Done.
- Click on the Done button.
- If the option Paid is selected, the user will be redirected to the next modal and the user will be prompted to select whether it is a Single-cost event or a Multiple-cost event. Click on the Next button
- The user will be redirected to the Price and Availability modal and the user will be prompted to enter details in the Price of Ticket and Availability fields. Click on the Done button.
- Enter the details in the Start Date and the Start Time field.
- Click on the (+) Add End Time link if required.
- Enter the details in the End Date and the End Time fields.
- If the End Date and End Time fields are not applicable to the event, click on the ( - ) Remove End Time link.
- Fill in the Tags and the Group fields.
- Click on the Post button in order to post the event.
- Click on the Save & Close button to save the details for future posting.
- Once the event is posted, it can be viewed by all the followers and the members of the groups selected in the Group field.
Any user interested in the posted event can view the event details and be a part of it. The details of the event can be shared by the users on the various social media platforms.
