Q Install - Q. Can I use Professional & Performance ceiling speakers in my bathroom?
Answer:
All Q Acoustics Install models are
moisture-proof, however, we do have specialist weatherproof models for outdoor/indoor use where an IPX rating is required ;stainless steel fixings and corrosion resistant aluminium
grilles are used, together with fully sealed drive units to ensure no water
ingress. Note, environments with high moisture and insufficient ventilation will cause the grilles of the Professional and Performance models to potentially rust over time as they are a ferrous metal type.
Additional note, the QI65CB models should NOT be used in this environment as they use a paper cone.
