This document will show you the process of activating the SMS function, as well as purchasing SMS credits. The SMS module is available to all clients, regardless of your subscription level. Activating the SMS module will allow you to send a SMS to your contacts in your database. You will need to pre purchase credits in order to send SMS's.
How to activate the SMS function
Before you can send a SMS from Arosoftware, you will need to verify your Sender ID. Please refer to this article for this.
Once your number is verified, our support team ill then be able to setup your Sender ID for you. Contact them at support@arosoftware.com. Once setup has been completed, you will need to select the number
of SMS's you would like to purchase.
How to purchase SMS credits
To purchase SMS credits, return to the Send SMS page
- Hover your mouse over Marketing in the main menu
- Click on Send SMS
You will see a message "You do not have any SMS credits remaining. Click here to purchase more". Clicking this link will pop up the Purchase SMS Credits wizard.
You will need to select the number of credits you would like to purchase using the drop down menu.
Before finalising your purchase, you will need to tick your acceptance of the charges and click on the Purchase SMS Credits button.
