[2.0] Setting the Countdown Timer
You can set countdown timers in Pre-Quiz, Post-Quiz, and Webinar page components. The procedure for setting countdown timers is the same for all of these page components.
Note: To better understand countdown timers, you may want to look at templates that already use them.
Step # 1
Click the component to which a countdown timer is to be added, then open it for editing by clicking either the Edit button that appears on the bottom of the component or the Builder tab on the top left.
Step # 2
When the Builder opens, scroll down to the Advanced Components section of the list of components on the left, then drag a countdown component onto the Canvas, then select it.
Before proceeding to Step 3, make sure that the countdown component is selected, otherwise you will not be able to set the time. The screenshot below shows a properly-selected Countdown component.
Step # 3
Click the Properties tab of the Builder, then set the countdown timer’s properties. To change the setting, position your cursor over the Start box, then change the date. For example, to set expiry of the countdown timer 31 days from 05/27/2020, change the date to 06/27/2020.
Exit the Builder once you’ve finished setting up the countdown timer.
Note: By default, the countdown timer is set to expire every 12 midnight. For example, if you set up the countdown timer at 12:01 am, the countdown timer will reflect 00 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 00 seconds - it will immediately start counting down until it reaches 12:00 am of the current date, at which time it will expire.
