Backbone Size Spec

Backbone Size Spec

An Intuitive Size Spec

If your product comes in multiple sizes, use our size spec workflow to easily grade your products.

Begin by typing in each size your product comes in under the Sizes Tab. You can rearrange, edit, and delete any size.

Once you have entered in all of your sizes click next.

Select a sample size

The sample size will be the size you wish to order samples. Each additional size will then grade accordingly based on your sample size.

We offer flexible grading so this number can be negative or positive.

The sample size can be changed at any time by simply clicking Edit Size Spec at the bottom of the Size Spec page. Click into the Sample tab and select any size from the dropdown to make that the new sample size.

Once selected click the X in the top right to save and close. The results will then be reflected in your size spec.

Add your Locations

Add all of your points of measurements by typing them in the field and clicking the add button.

You can rearrange, edit, and delete any location.

Add in your tolerance and measurements

Record the tolerance and measurements for each location of your sample size.

Add your Grades

You can add in flexible grade rules for each size and point of measurement. To grade down just add a negative symbol before any number.

Size Spec Presets

Archive reusable measurements for products and easily import them into new and existing products.

Add a new preset

Under the Size Spec Preset Module, click New Preset. You will be launched into a new size spec workflow where you can begin to build out your size spec template.

Once you finish, your size spec preset will be saved to import into future products. Presets can be edited at anytime and the changes will be reflected into any products using that preset.

Import your Preset

Under the Size Spec tab within any product, click the Import Preset icon.

You can then choose to import any preset you have previously created into that product.

To edit the spec at any time, simply click the Edit Size Spec button at the bottom of your spec.
