How to 2FA?

How to 2FA?

What is the 2-step verification?

The 2-step verification will require you to fill in the email/mobile/Google verification code when you perform sensitive operations. Even if the account seed phrase is stolen, if the attacker does not have your 2-step verification device, attacks such as withdrawal will not be possible. Turn on 2-step verification can further protect the safety of your funds.

Set verification-free duration

For some common operations, you can set a verification-free duration.

For example, if you set the verification-free duration for transfers to 30 minutes, then after your verification is successful this time, all transfer requests (the target address must have been added to the Address Book) within the next 30 minutes will no longer need verification.

What operations need to be verified

The following operations require a verification code when the 2-step verification item is bound, and no verification is required when the 2-step verification item is not bound:

1. Transfer (to any address)

2. Withdraw (to any address)

3. Import Account

The following operations must be verified every time. If the 2-step verification item is not bound, you need to bind it before proceeding:

1. Export Seed Phrase

2. Add an address to the Transfer Address Book

3. Add an address to the Withdraw Address Book

4. Remove an address from the Transfer Address Book

5. Remove an address from the Withdraw Address Book

6. Update 2-Step verification item: Email Address, Phone Number, Google Authenticator;

7. Turn off 2-step verification item: Email, Phone, Google Authenticator;

When the target address has been added to the Address Book, the following operations do not require a verification code during the verification-free duration:

1. Transfer (to someone in the Address Book)

2. Withdraw (to someone in the Address Book)
