Sears Manual Dispatch

This process is used when the Request for Merchandise Already Exists or SPI-175 error messages occur when dispatching to Sears because an appointment already exists in the SPI but not in ServiceBench. It allows us to connect the appointments between the two systems and proceed so that we do not have to reassign the Service Job.

Process

  1. Create and Save the Service Request.
  2. Select the appropriate problem code.
  3. Check the Sears SPI Portal for a scheduled date and time slot.
  4. Manually Assign to the appropriate Sears Profile.
  5. Enter the scheduled date and time.
  6. Click Manually Assign.
  7. Submit the Service Job.
  8. 3 new fields will appear that require the entry of information located in the SPI.
    1. SPI Service Order No.
      1. Sears service order number.
      2. Second half after the dash of the unit-order number.
      3. Typically begins with 4.
    2. SPI Service Unit No.
      1. Sears service unit number.
      2. First half before the dash of the unit-order number.
      3. The number is 4 digits long and must be preceded by 3 zeros in Service Bench (8555 should be 0008555).
    3. Proc ID
      1. Located in the upper right corner of the SPI screen.
      2. The first 3 characters indicate warranty type.
      3. The last 3 characters indicate deductible status/amount due.
  9. Click Save.
