Sears Non-Covered Repair Discount Benefit

Sears offers their warranty customers a Non-Covered repair discount of 25%:
All Sears warranty customers are eligible for the 25% discount on repairs during their "Inactive" period on any item, excluding the item serviced through a Paid Call. 

Customers enrolled in an active Sears Home Warranty Appliance-Only or Systems-Only program can take advantage of a 25% discount benefit on non-covered repairs.
  1. For Sears Home Warranty Appliance-Only customers, the 25% discount applies to HVAC and Water Heater-related services.
    1. SearsP3 customers are also eligible for additional items including: Garbage Disposal and Garage Door Opener.
  2. For Sears Home Warranty Systems-Only customers, the 25% discount applies to Appliance related services.
There is no limit to the number of times a Sears Home Warranty Appliance-Only or Systems-Only customer can use this discount.
  1. The 25% discount is applied per qualified non-covered item and per occurrence, not to exceed $500 of the total repair cost.
  2. The customer is responsible to pay Sears for the service, parts, and labor. The 25% discount will be applied at the time of service.
  3. Refer to the contract for specific coverage terms and conditions.

Scheduling with Sears
  1. For the non-covered repairs, attempt to Warm Conference the customer in with Sears at (501)255-1142 to schedule an appointment to receive the 25% discount. 
    1. If hold time exceeds 2 minutes, advise the customer and complete a cold transfer.

  2. When a Sears technician is dispatched to perform the repairs, the 25% non-covered discount is applied to the service.

  1. Document the call interaction in the SB CEC notepad.

    If Sears is unable to service, this benefit is forfeited.
    If a customer calls in regarding this policy warm conference with Sears Paid Call for assistance.
