Create the TSS-Back Order/NLA Exception

Create the TSS-Back Order/NLA Exception

The TSS-Back Order/NLA Exception is created when a distributor indicates that parts or equipment ordered by Cinch are unavailable. Creating this exception notifies Parts Sourcing that new parts/equipment need to be researched from another distributor or a replacement needs to be offered. 
This exception is ONLY to be created by Parts Sourcing.

  1. Create the exception in Open status.
  2. Enter all required information in the Exception Comment.
    1. Purchasing-<Distributor>, has indicated no stock for PO# on <item>
      Example: Purchasing-Reliable parts has indicated no stock for PO# 739876 on Drain Pump
  3. Enter all required information in the Service Job Comments using the below Note Template:
    1. PURCHASING - RELIABLE PARTS HAS INDICATED NO STOCK FOR PO# 739876 ON DRAIN PUMP - ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELLED - CREATED TSS-BACK ORDER/NLA EXCEPTION TO SOURCE FROM ANOTHER DISTRIBUTOR.
