Create the TSS-Back Order/NLA Exception
The TSS-Back Order/NLA Exception is created when a distributor indicates that parts or equipment ordered by Cinch are unavailable. Creating this exception notifies Parts Sourcing that new parts/equipment need to be researched from another distributor or a replacement needs to be offered.
This exception is ONLY to be created by Parts Sourcing.
- Create the exception in Open status.
- Enter all required information in the Exception Comment.
- Purchasing-<Distributor>, has indicated no stock for PO# on <item>
Example: Purchasing-Reliable parts has indicated no stock for PO# 739876 on Drain Pump
- Enter all required information in the Service Job Comments using the below Note Template:
- PURCHASING - RELIABLE PARTS HAS INDICATED NO STOCK FOR PO# 739876 ON DRAIN PUMP - ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELLED - CREATED TSS-BACK ORDER/NLA EXCEPTION TO SOURCE FROM ANOTHER DISTRIBUTOR.
