Search & Find

Zoho Desk has two different Search features: Search and Find (and Advanced Find).  

Quick Search

Quick Search enables you to search for a specific record(s) from all of your modules or a particular module by entering the search keywords.
  1. On the Zoho Toolbar, click Search.
  2. Enter your keyword. The most frequently used Agent searches are Phone Number,
    Service Request Number, and Case Number. Use the correct module for each search type.
    1. Click All to search across all Zoho modules.
    2. Enter the Service Job number, and click Case tab to search within the Case Module.
    3. Enter the Phone Number, click Contacts tab to search within the Contact Module.

Find / Advanced Find

  1. On the Zoho toolbar, click the Expand Menu, and click Find.
  2. Enter one or more search criteria, such as Phone Number, Name, Property Address, or Contract Number.
    1. For Contract Searches, remove the Renewal Year (i.e., -1, -2, -3).
  3. Click Search.
    Once the desired customer displays on your screen, click the Customer's name to open the Customer's record.


Advanced Find 

  1. On the Zoho Toolbar, click Search.
  2. On the Search bar, click the Down Arrow.

  3. Click Advanced Search.
  4. Enter one or more search criteria.

  5. Click Search.
