Zoho Desk Portals | Workspaces

At Cinch, we have multiple working environments, also called workspaces or portals, based on your team and assigned work. Each environment has a special color, however, Cinch Production (real customer data) will always have the Cinch Green banner as shown below.

The current portal banner colors:
  1. Green
    Production | Real Customer Data
  2. Light Blue/Lavender
    PreProd | Fake Customer Data
  3. Yellow
    Training | Fake Customer Data


Choose a Portal

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. In the address bar, type desk.zoho.com and click Sign In
    1. If you have access to more than one portal (workspace), you will be offered a list of available systems,
      such as Cinch QA, Cinch Training or Cinch Production (Prod).
  3. Choose a portal. Click the Portal page name.
    Some Zoho Desk users have access to many portals based
    on their role requirements within Cinch.

If you have access to only one portal, the main portal page displays on your screen.

Change Portals or Set Default Portal

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. In the address bar, type desk.zoho.com and click Sign In
  3. At the top right, click Profile  .
  4. Click My Portal(s)



    The portals that you have access to will be displayed on the Portal page.



  5. To Change Portals
    1. Click the desired portal title. The portal is opened on your page and
      the toolbar color will reflect the portal color: Green (Production), Black (QA) and Light Blue (PreProd). 

  6. To Set a Default:
    The default system is the main landing page (homepage) that displays after a successful Sign In.
    1. Using the mouse, point to the desired portal.
    2. Click SET AS DEFAULT.
      Most Agents and Associates will choose the Cinch-Prod (Production) portal.
