If you carry unique products that are hard to find or price yourself competitively, shipping is a great way to expand your business. 

By connecting a FedEx or UPS account with City Hive, the system will automatically calculate the cost of shipping based on the weight of the products a customer has added to their cart and distance to their location and automatically foster in what to charge the customer. The bottles are based on the following weights:

After deciding which carrier you'd like to use, setting up your account takes between 5-10 minutes. 

How to Enable FedEx Shipping Support 

1. Visit the FedEx Web Services website
   
2. Under The Right Path, click on Get Started under Develop & Test 
   
3. Log in or create a FedEx account if necessary
   
4. Click Get Your Developer Test Key
   
5. On the following page, fill in the information and click continue
   
6. Accept the Terms and Conditions
   
7. Save your Developer Test Key (aka Test Authentication Key), Test Account Number, and Test Meter Number
   

      

1. Visit the FedEx Web Services website
   
2. Under The Right Path, click on Move to Production under Move to Production
   
3. Log in or create a FedEx account if necessary
   
4. Click Get Your Production Key
   
5. On the following page, fill in the following information and click continue                                              
   
6. Accept the Terms and Conditions
   
7. Enter your Fedex Account Number located under the account management section of your profile and click continue
   
8. Choose whether or not you'd like to update your account information
   
9. Save your Account Number from above, Authentication Key and Meter Number
   

      

How to Enable UPS Shipping Support

1. Visit the UPS Developer website
   
2. Under How to Get Started, click on Step 4 to Request an Access Key
   
3. Log in or create a UPS account if necessary
   
4. At the bottom of the page, either Open a UPS Account or Add a UPS Account to your request 
   
5. Click Request Access Key
   
6. You will get an email with:
   • XML Access Key
     
   • Account Number
     

Connect Your Shipping Provider to City Hive

To enable shipping support, enter the following information in your City Hive dashboard:

1. Visit your Settings Page in the merchant dashboard and click on Shipping
   
2. Select which carrier you'd like to use and enter the required information
   • If you choose to use FedEx, we need you to provide:
     • Meter Number
     • Password
       
     • FedEx Account Number
     • Authentication Key
     • Test Password
       
     • Test Meter Number
       
     • Test FedEx Account Number
       
     • Test Authentication Key
   • If you choose to use UPS we need you to provide:
     • User ID
       
     • Password
       
     • XML Access Key
       
     • Account Number
       
3. Once connected, you'll have a one bottle box defaulted but we recommend clicking the pencil at the top right of the box to add more options
   
4. Configure the shipping options, items, and states you'd like to support shipping to by clicking the pencil at the top of the Shipping Info section
   • Shipping Services:
     • Home Delivery: Economical Ground Delivery to Residences
       
     • Ground: Economical Ground Delivery to Businesses
       
     • Express Saver: Within 3 Business Days
       
     • 2Day Delivery: Within 2 Business Days
       
     • Standard Overnight: Next Business Day Afternoon
       
     • Priority Overnight: Next Business Day Morning
       
     • First Overnight: First Thing the Next Business Day Mornin
