Sending & Receiving Cryptocurrencies

On top of allowing users to buy, sell and swap cryptocurrencies, Coinhako also functions as a crypto wallet which allows you to store, send and receive* cryptocurrencies. In this article, you’ll find out how to send and receive crypto on Coinhako.


*Please note that following the implementation of Travel Rule, you will only be able to send/receive crypto to/from your verified personal wallet (non-custodial) and Travel Rule compliant exchanges/VASPs.

Sending Cryptocurrencies on Coinhako

To send cryptocurrencies out of your Coinhako wallet, simply follow these steps:


1. Navigate to 'Superwallet', then choose the crypto you wish to send. 

2. Select ‘Send’.


3. On this page, enter all required information:

  • Recipient’s address*

    • Save the address to the address book

  • Address destination

  • Recipient’s full name

  • Amount to send

 

Once done, make sure you read, understand and agree to Coinhako’s Recovery Policy and click ‘Preview Transaction’. 




 

4. Review the details of the transactions. Once done, select ‘Proceed to send’.


5. You will be prompted to enter two pieces of information to confirm your transaction:

  • Email verification code (sent to your email address)

  • Two-factor authenticator (2FA) code (from your authenticator app)

6. Your transaction will be processed. 


 

Receiving Cryptocurrencies on Coinhako


1. Navigate to 'Superwallet', then choose the crypto you wish to send. 

2. Select 'Receive'. 


3. You will be led to a page where you would find:

  • The Address of your <Cryptocurrency> Wallet

  • A QR code to share with parties who may want to send Cryptocurrencies to you.

  • Your Sygna Hub details like your user code and the VASP code


How do I know that my transaction has gone through?


Want to make sure your crypto has been sent successfully? Go to the “History” tab and select “Wallet” on the right side of the screen. 


This page will display all the transactions made from your Coinhako wallet and you will be able to check your transaction details and status there.
