Predefined Questions and Answers

Clients within the same business category or industry often seek to obtain similar details or information from customers prior to meetings or appointments. You can create predefined questions to save your clients some time.

Predefined questions can support free-form text entries or multiple-choice drop-down menus. Clients still have the ability to create their own questions if the predefined questions do not suit their needs.

Create a Predefined Question

  1. Log in to the Dashboard.
  2. Scroll down to and click the Settings tab on the side menu, then click Question Presets.
  3. The Question Preset Manager screen opens.
  4. Create a new predefined question for clients to select by clicking the New Question Preset button.
  5. The Question Definition Preset modal window expands.
  6. Type the new question in the Question Text field. 
    1. To enable free form text entries, click the Save changes button.
    2. To create a drop-down with possible choices or answers, click the Add Answer button.
  7. Type one potential answer in the Answer field. 
  8. Continue Steps 7 and 8 until all possible answers have been created, then click the Save changes button.


Modify a Predefined Question

  1. Log in to the Dashboard.
  2. Scroll down to and click the Settings tab on the side menu, then click Question Presets.
  3. The Question Preset Manager screen opens.
  4. Click on the predefined or default question to be modified.
  5. The Edit Prospect Question modal window opens.
  6. Edit any of the fields and click Save.
  7. Delete the entire predefined question by clicking the Delete button at the bottom right of the page. 
  8. Click the Save button when all changes are complete.
