How do I set up the v108 Call Blocker?

How do I set up the v108 Call Blocker?

The correct method to set it up is IN-LINE as illustrated below.

The main line cable from the main socket to your phone simply unplugs from your phone and plugs into the LINE 2 port of the Call Blocker (left side).

The short black cable we supply with the Call Blocker is then plugged into port TEL 2 of the Call Blocker (right side) and the other end simply plugs back into your phone.

You then need to check that the unit is correctly set up as all phones are different and some require different connections.

Simply obtain a dial tone on your phone (press talk/green phone button on your phone if it's a cordless phone) and if the
dial tone is present, you should see the red lights* activate on the Call Blocker.

This confirms that the unit is correctly set up and ready to start blocking nuisance calls.

*If you don't get a dial tone or don't get red lights, then you need to swap the cables around
and instead use the LINE 1 and TEL 1 ports. So what you need to do is swap LINE 2
into LINE 1 (left side) and swap TEL 2 into TEL 1 (right side). It should then work
as mentioned above.* (UK ONLY)

BEST PHONES TO USE WITH THE CPR CALL BLOCKER

The best phones to use with the CPR Call Blocker are DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telephones).

These phones all operate from one main base station and the extension handsets can be used in any room of your property without overloading your line like separate extension sockets and phones would.

The main base station and Call Blocker will attach to your main telephone socket and the extension handsets can be used in any other room just plugged into an electrical socket to keep fully charged.

The extra handsets can also be used to program the call blocker and to block calls without pressing the BLOCK NOW button by using # 2 (v.107/v.108 & v.201/v.202) on the extension handsets.

IF YOU HAVE A DECT (DIGITAL ENHANCED CORDLESS TELEPHONE) PHONE THEN YOUR SET UP SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS. THIS IS ALSO THE BEST WAY TO CONNECT AND USE THE CALL BLOCKER WITHOUT PROBLEMS.
