Why am I getting a busy signal when trying to enter the programming codes?

The programming codes will only be accepted when in the standard set up with the small black cable, please ensure you are in this set up before proceeding to enter codes.

Some telephone line providers use network codes that may conflict with the Call Blocker's programming codes.

To enter a code generate a dial tone on the telephone where the call blocker is attached:

  1. Press and hold the BLOCK NOW button until you hear a beep
  2. Enter the desired code

Alternative options for entering codes:

  1. Input the FULL code into the handset BEFORE getting a dial tone then press the CALL/TALK/GREEN button on the handset to ‘dial’ the number – check if the counter of blocked calls has increased to confirm successful.
  2. Try instead to generate a dial tone, press and hold the block now button until you hear a beep, then use alternative programming code ( using # * instead of * * – example # * 7 # * # for blocking International instead of * * 7 # * # )
  3. Input the FULL alternative code into the handset BEFORE getting a dial tone then press the CALL/TALK/GREEN button on the handset to ‘dial’ the number.
  4. If you have just received a call from e.g. unavailable and this has prompted you to block and were unable to enter the code as in parallel, instead you can scroll through the call list, find the unavailable and hit block now. This can be done for any of the codes if the call has been received recently
