How to rent a bicycle?

Renting a Cykl bicycle is plain and simple. You need to register and add some credit first.

Rent a bike with the Cykl website or app
1. Sign in to Cykl
2. Select the Cykl destination from the drop-down menu or via the map.
3. Select the number of the bicycle you want to rent.
4. Click 'Rent' to start the ride.
5. Open the mechanical lock with the code provided.
6. Open the electronic lock by clicking the 'unlock' button below (it's connected to the internet).

Tip: you can locate the bike by sound using the ‘locate’ button.

Rent a bike by scanning an QR-code (website only).
1. Sign in to Cykl
2. Scan a QR-code on any Cykl bike with your camera app or QR code reader on the Cykl website.
3. Open the mechanical lock with the code provided.
4. Go back to the homepage.
5. Open the electronic lock by clicking the 'unlock' button.
