Recommended Phones for Use with Dot3D Pro

Please see below for a running list of phones supported for use with Dot3D for 3D scanning. Android phones require an Intel RealSense (or DPI-X/DPI-XSR) depth camera. Apple phones only support scanning via their built-in LiDAR cameras. Note that this list is not exhaustive, but does include some of the more well tested options. On any platform, always make sure you are running the latest OS version available for the device.

Please click here to review minimum specs for all platforms. On Android, a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset is required.

Recommended Phones:
  1. iPhone Pro (12 & up) - built-in LiDAR camera, not compatible with external cameras
  2. Motorola phones meeting the minimum specs
Recommended Cables:
**Please note that USB-A to USB-C adapters may not work properly for this connection. We recommend the USB C-to-C options listed above.**
