How Do I Add A Link To A Section Of Text?

You can add links to text on the pages of your website. You have the option of having them open up in new tabs. If you are taking visitors outside of your website, this prevents them from losing your website in their browsers. You may add links to any section of text on a page.

How to Add a Link to a Section of Text

  • Click Edit, or let the cursor hover over the text you want to change
  • If you hover over the text, a round gear will appear
  • Click on the gear, and then select Edit
  • Highlight the text that you would like to link
  • Click Link, the infinity-shaped icon in the editing toolbar
  • Insert the URL address of the website you want to link to
  • If you want to change the wording of the title of the link, enter the text as you would like it to appear
  • Click Open link in a new tab if you want the link to open in a new tab
  • Click Insert
  • Click Save
