Purpose: This tool provides the ability to duplicate all the data that is on the Account Details/Assumption tab from a selected BudgetID to a new BudgetID.  An example of data Account Details/Assumption tab is:


1) Select the CompanyID and BudgetID that you wish to copy;

2) In addition to automatically copying the data on the Account Details/Assumption tab, by checking in the appropriate box approvals and comment, file attachments and edit status can be copied as well;

3) If the prior year budget's data was setup with Lookup, by selecting from the dropdown menu in the "New Lookup BudgetID" column, required updated information will be copied in the new budget.  In our example, the original budget looked up information and 2014 Actuals and we require the new budget to Lookup information from the 2015 Actuals.

4) Enter the title of the New BudgetID. 

5) Click the "Duplicate" button and when complete you will receive a popup message indicating the status of the duplication. This is also stored in the "Log" tab.
