Notice is a very important part of the claims process for all damage or loss claims on Government Bill of Lading, DoD/Military shipments. If you do not follow the notice rules, your claim could be denied.
oWritten notification of Loss and/or Damages must
be submitted to the Carrier within 75 days from the date of delivery. Items not
timely notified may be subject to denial. ◦ Damage AT Delivery form completed
oDamage AFTER Delivery (reverse side of Damage AT
Delivery) can be scanned/emailed, faxed or mailed to the carrier within 75 days
from the date of delivery. Suggest keeping transaction receipt for verification
oYou may also submit your Notification of Loss
and/or Damages via the www.move.mil website with the 75 days from delivery.
