Rubric


1. Click the Show More link.



2. Select the Rubric tab.



3. To choose a rubric that is in our Rubric Library, select the Rubric Library button. To create a new rubric, select the New Rubric button.



4. If you choose to create your own rubric, enter your criteria in the space provided.  To add an additional row or column, click the yellow (+) sign. To delete a column or a row, click the red (x). To change the layout from verticla to horizontal, check the box beside Horizontal Layout. To hide the rubric from your students, check the box beside Hide from Students.



5. If you choose the Rubric Library button, you can choose a rubric from Sample Templates, My Rubrics, or Edcite Schools.  The Edcite Schools Rubric Library will only be available to Edcite Schools customers.



6. Once you choose a rubric, it will auto-populate in the window.  You can edit any rubric you choose. You can edit the text, rows, and columns. To change the layout from vertical to horizontal, check the box beside Horizontal Layout. To hide the rubric from your students, check the box beside Hide from Students.






Settings

1. Click on the Settings tab.



2. Click on the tool that you would like to enable for your students.  Current choices include a ruler and a protractor.





Solution

1. Click on the Solution tab.



2. Enter the Solution in the space provided.  The Solution will be shown on the Student Answer Report.





Hints

1. Click on the Hints tab.



2. Enter a hint in the space provided. To add an additional hint, cick the Add Hint button.
