INTRO
Identifying key token values when creating a new action while setting rules is very important, however, with so many tokens available it is a little tricky to make the right comparison while making rules, Using an Email Debug Information object could solve all these hurdles.
Step by Step
Please go to edit or create a rule in Advanced Options --> Settings --> Rules:
Edit a current rule or add a new one and select the trigger that it's going to start the action you need to register from the list:
After selecting the trigger you need to put a condition if needed and then select the action, as you can see below there are several actions that can be performed depending on the trigger and conditions specified in the previous steps, in these actions you can select tokens as needed, in order to know the values returned by those tokens please select EMAIL DEBUG INFORMATION from the list as highlighted below:
Now put your email in the next screen:
Now execute the action that will trigger this rule, for example it could be login a student to a sign-in station or maybe swipe a card (please check what trigger and conditions you specified), this will make Accucampus to send you an email with all tokens values, and now you will know what tokens you will have at your disposal to assign such values as needed or to compare such token values as needed: for example in the debug information below you can see that the location.id returned X values so you can use such value to make comparisons and/or send such information.
