INTRO
In AccuCampus you can attach images to any WYSIWYG editor (web editors), this is both for Rules notifications and the HTML widget that you can use for the Home Page. In this article, we review how to add images/videos to those editors to create image-rich panels and notifications.
STEP BY STEP
1-WYSIWYG editors in AccuCampus:
These editors are meant to create content-rich pages and notifications. In order to use these editors in AccuCampus, you need to know about what items you can add to those pages, WYSIWYG editors can be found in these places:
1-The "Home Page Quick Panels" module.
2- The notifications that you can add as part of the rules.
2-How to use WYSIWYG editors?
In AccuCampus with WYSIWYG editors, you can create Text (and format them in many ways), Tables, Images, and Videos. When using these editors as you insert the content you are visually seeing how the content will look to the user.
3-How to add an image?
In order to add an image you must click this link:
You would need to upload such an image to a public web-server accessible all the time from the internet, it could be a school web-server or a public service such as Imgur.com
In this case, we will use Imgur.com as an example, once you create an account in Imgur.com click on "Add Images"
Click on the "Browse" button or drag the images here:
Search the image file in your computer and double click on it:
Click on the newly uploaded image:
In the Direct Link option copy that URL:
Now we will use this URL to create the image in the editor, let's go back to AccuCampus
2.1- Click on the icon on step1.
2.2-Add the URL referencing the image(this is mandatory).
2.3-Enter an image description(this is optional).
2.4-Set the dimensions as needed.
2.5 Click OK to save.
