Accudemia: How do I block off weekends or specific times on my Center/college calendars?

Introduction

The Centers Offtimes refer to those hours (or days) that individual centers (or the school) will not be available to accept appointments, these could be specific hours on a weekly/monthly basis or specific dates, usually, these center offtimes are due to special celebrations or activities like Christmas, certain sports events or similar.
Setting Center Offtimes is particularly important so each individual tutor schedule automatically receives this information and nobody can try to schedule activities knowingly or unknowingly.
In this article, we describe the process.

Step-By-Step

1-Pre-requirements:
Depending on the configuration of permissions in Accudemia some users might not have access to some or all of these features described here, see an administrator for more info and assistance as needed.

2-Go to the menu at Administration > Offtimes:

3-Filter the Center and Calendar Mode.
 - On the left side select the Right Scope, you can select the school or a specific Center:
In this example, we are selecting the School

   - Select the Calendar mode:
Note:!! After selecting the filters you need to click "apply filters" to see the calendar with the selected filters.

In the Term Mode, you can specify offtime information that occurs weekly with no specific dates, for example, if in your school there should be no planned-activities (appointments) on Weekends, then you can select the "Term  Mode" and declare as Offtime Saturday and Sunday by clicking and dragging all blocks that belong to Saturdays and Sundays.

In the  Exception Only Mode, you can specify offtime information that does not happen on a weekly basis and have specific dates, for example on Christmas-day there will be no appointments-related activities so in this case, you would select the Exception Mode, search for the date (December 25th) and declare it as an Offtime. In this mode, you will not see the offtimes declared in "Term Mode".

In the  Merged Mode is similar to Exception Only Mode, you can specify offtime information that does not happen on a weekly basis and have specific dates, for example on Christmas-day there will be no appointments-related activities so in this case, you would select the Merged Mode, search for the date (December 25th) and declare it as an Offtime. In this mode, you will see all blocks marked as offtimes in both "Term Mode" and "Merged Mode".

-Select a Date (if using "Merged Mode" or "Exception Only Mode").

If you select dates-based modes ("Merged Mode" or "Exception Only Mode") you would need to specify what week you want to show in the calendar, if you are setting November 18th as an Offtime you would need to click that specific Date in the calendar, the whole week will show.

4-Select the blocks or days and declare them as offtimes.

In the Term Mode, for example, in this school there should be no planned activities (appointments) on Weekends, then you can select the "Term  Mode" and declare it as Offtime Saturdays and Sundays by clicking and dragging all blocks that belong to Saturdays and Sundays as shown here and using the Schedule As option.

In the  Exception Only Mode, you can specify offtime information for a particular day, for example, search for the date (December 25th) and declare it as an Offtime as shown here:
