Accudemia: How do I fix Internet Explorer so that I can download ADX?

Introduction

When Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration is enabled, it can create problems in downloading and installing ADX. If this is the case, follow these steps to disable Internet Explorer's Enhanced Security Configuration.

Step-by-Step

On Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, or older

1. Navigate to Start > Server Manager to open the Server Manager.

2. Click Configure IE ESC in the Security Information section.

3.Disable the IE ESC for administrators and users in the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration window, then click OK.

On Windows Server 2012 or newer

1. Navigate to Server Manager > Local Server  to start the Server Manager.

2. Scroll to the right in the Properties section and find IE Enhanced Security Configuration, then toggle the setting off.

3. Disable the IE ESC for administrators and users in the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration window, then click OK.

Note: The setting will not appear to have changed in the Server Manager at first. Press F5 to refresh the screen and clarify that the setting has been turned off.
