AccuSQL: How to Change the SQL Native Client Driver to the latest available version?

Step 1:      From right side of the System Administration screen, Click on Database

Step 2:      Click on Database Location

Step 3:      Select the SQL Server radio button and Click Next

Step 4:  Select the SQL Native Client driver from the drop-down menu next to label "SQL Native Client Driver 11.0" as shown below:

NOTE: Depending on what is installed on the client, you may be using the native client, native client 10, or native client 11.  If you get an OLE iDispatch error when you try to connect, you may need to install the native client.  The installer is located in the AccuSQL 2020 installation folder under a folder labelled "SQL Drivers".  There is a 32-bit (sqlncli.msi) and a 64-bit (sqlncli_x64.msi) available. Make sure you check your Computer Properties to determine your system type to ensure you install the proper driver for your system.

Step 5:  Click the Save button and then Close at the top.  Exit and reopen AccuSQL if you made a change to the database used so it can connect to the new database.
