Additional Notes

Changing CNC Parameters:

TAPE / ISO parameter:
1. Press DATA I/O softkey.
2. Press TAPE softkey.
3. Press PARAM softkey.
4. Change parameters.

Outputting CNC Programs:

Outputting EIA & Mazatrol programs:
1. Press DATA I/O softkey.
2. Press TAPE softkey.
3. Press PUNCH NC->TAPE softkey.
4. Key in program #. (Use PROGRAM FILE if needed)
5. Press INPUT.
6. Repeat Steps 4&5 for additional programs.
7. Press START.

Inputting CNC Programs:

Inputting EIA/Mazatrol programs:
1. Press DATA I/O softkey.
2. Press TAPE softkey.
3. Press ALL LOAD NC<-TAPE.
4. Press START.

Installing USB to RS232 device:

1. Copy CD that came with device onto USB Memory stick and connect to Mazak control.

2. Connect USB/Serial Cable.

3. Windows will detect new hardware after USB cable is connected.

4. Follow window prompts to install driver.

5. After device is installed, go to device manager, select Ports, Com & LPT.

Verify what com port is being used for the USB/RS232 device.

6. After you are finished, you should move the USB/RS232 cable inside the cabinet and plug it directly into the USB port

located on the side of the CTR/CPU unit.  The extender cable that is used to bring the USB port to the outside of the

cabinet has been known to cause erratic.  After connecting to the USB port, make sure in Device Manager, the same

com port is assigned to the USB/RS232 port.  If it is not, switch USB ports.
