Edit Content in Amaze

Edit Content in Amaze

While the template will automatically retrieve certain product data from Shopify and update styles based on your selections on the Customize step, you will also need to provide non-product content for things like background images, logos, copy, etc in the right side bar.

All content updates are done in the right side bar. You will be redirected to the Edit Content step when you click the Next - Edit Content button from the Customize step. You can also navigate to the Edit Content screen anytime by clicking on Edit Content in the left sidebar.

When you first navigate to the Edit Content step, the first screen of the template will be shown by default.
Use the right side bar to add your own background image, logo, and supporting imagery. To replace an image, hover over the image thumbnail in the right side bar and click the circular arrow icon to open the finder. Select an image or video from the finder and click Open to update the image in the template with the file you selected. To replace template copy with your own copy, click into an input field, delete the placeholder copy and type in your own copy.

After updating the content on the first screen, click the Next Screen button at the bottom of the right side bar to navigate to screen 2. Repeat the process of replacing template content in the right side bar and clicking Next Screen until all template content has been updated. When you reach the last screen, the Next Screen button will change to a Publish button. Clicking the Publish button from the Edit Content screen will send you to the Publishing step.
