How do I charge different labor rates for different customers?

If you need to charge different labor rates for different customers, this can be accomplished by creating and assigning a labor contract to a customer in FleetSquared.  This article explains how to do this.
  1. Open the Administration menu and select Customer.


  2. Search for the appropriate customer and click on the customer's name.


  3. If you have already created an applicable labor contract, select it from the drop-down list then click OK at the bottom of the screen to save,  The STD contract is the standard labor rate that was created when you first set up your FleetSquared account.

    To create a new labor rate, click Add next to the Labor drop-down list.


  4. Enter a Code name and Description for you new labor contract and click Next.


  5. Enter an Hourly Rate and click Next.

    Sublet Markup % should be left blank.  This field is only applicable if you upgrade to the EMDECS Fleet Maintenance System which supports sublet repairs.


  6. The override by facility screen is not applicable.  Click Next again.


  7. The override by equipment shift screen is also not applicable (only apples to the EMDECS system).  Click Save / Exit to save your new labor contract rate.


  8. The new labor contract will be saved and assigned to the customer.  If you need to make changes to the contract, click on the Edit link.

    Click OK to close the screen.
