Downloading the solar web app

There are two apps available if you’d like to monitor from your phone.  Both are available from Google or Apple app stores.

1. Free - Solarweb Live

This app is fairly limited and will show you today’s live production and a simple bar chart for the past 7 days.

 2. $4.99 (App Store cost) - Solarweb Pro

This app will allow you to see a full history of the system performance.  You’ll be able to see detailed daily production for the entire history of the system.  There are also daily, monthly and yearly reporting modes as well.

If you skip to 2:20 in this video, you’ll see a comparison of the apps and why one is better.

Log on into your app with Solarweb

Login to solarweb.com or the solarweb app.  If you are using the app (phone/tablet - available from apps stores), you may default to the demo system.  To log in to your account, click the picture of the house and find the settings>user option to log in.

Once you are logged in, you may already see your system present, this means that our electrician was able to get you to this stage previously.

If you are presented with a ‘setup inverter’ option, click on it and follow the prompts.  Setup is generally pretty easy.  On step in the setup will ask you for power in WP.  This system will be your system size in Watts.  i.e. if your system is 6kW, you will enter 6000.
