Reference Guide: 4.7 Zoom

If you have a lot of audio, you may prefer for the audio chunks to take up less space on the screen. You can temporarily change the audio pane with Zoom. This is a button in the bar at the top of the pane . By default Zoom just shortens each chunk to a quarter of its normal size.

You can set up how the audio pane normally looks and how Zoom will re-size the chunks in App Menu → System → Settings → Chunk Sizes.

  • With the check box unticked, the slider changes the normal size of your audio chunks.
  • With the check box ticked, the slider changes the Zoomed view of your audio chunks.

Moving the slider to the left will compress your audio chunks further, while moving it to the right will expand the chunks; altering these settings can make the Zoom button either zoom in or zoom out when pressed.
