Reference Guide: 7.2 Pasting Text and Links

You can copy and paste formatted text from rich text documents (e.g. Microsoft Word .doc), though sometimes there will be small changes to the formatting when pasting due to limitations of the rich text format.

You should not paste stand-alone images or PowerPoint slides into the Text or Reference Panes – you should use the Image Pane for this. Having images in these panes can cause performance issues and may not be compatible with Audio Notetaker on other platforms.

Links to Files and Web Pages

You can paste both web page URLs and links to files on your PC. For files, just right-click on the file in Windows Explorer and select "Copy", then paste it into either pane to get a URL-style link.

When you click on the link, Audio Notetaker will bring up the web page or file - as long as you haven't moved it in the meantime.
