How to Share Your Contacts from Google Contacts Manager?

So, without further ado, we will briefly tell you about Contact Labels as they are designed to help you organize your contacts and then we will take a step ahead by enabling you to share your contact labels with your team members using just a few clicks. So, let’s get started!


Start from here if you have not installed the Shared Contacts for Gmail extension for Chrome browser. If you already have it installed, then skip the first part.


How to Install the Chrome Extension of Shared Contacts for Gmail?

In order to install the chrome extension of Shared Contacts for Gmail, you need to follow the steps below:

Go to our chrome extension by clicking here and click on Add to Chrome


Once downloaded, it will appear in your extensions’ bar and you will automatically be redirected to Google Contacts page



You have successfully installed the Chrome extension of Shared Contacts for Gmail.

How to Share a Contact Label?

Go to Google Contacts and click on “Create label” to create a new label that you want to share. Enter your desired name and hit save on the popup. Or you can directly select an existing label that you want to share.



Add contacts in the new label. Once added, hover over the newly created label or the label you want to share and you will see a new share icon (as shown in the image below). Click on it.



After clicking on it, you will see a popup window, where you can enter the email address of the person(s) you want to share the label with



After you have shared the label, you will be redirected to permissions page where you can set the permissions for the shared contacts, as shown below



Set the permissions, click on the Add button and you are good to go!
If you do not use a Chrome browser, you can still share your contact labels using Shared Contacts for Gmail's App
