How To Change The Lead Status?

The success of your business largely relies on the lead generation rate and the traffic that your business website manages to generate. Growth99+ account users can view the details and status of all their leads in one place in the application. The Growth99+ application has provided its account users with several criteria under which they may classify their business leads.
Business account users may also change the status of each lead manually depending on the possibility of the lead converting into a confirmed booking. This article teaches business account users how to change the status of their leads manually.

STEP 1

Access your Growth99+ business account using your login credentials. In the main menu, click on the "All Leads" submenu under the "Leads" menu; check the below image.



STEP 2

Scroll down to find a list of all the leads that your business website has generated. Click on the 3 dots to the right side of any lead under the "Actions" menu and click on the "Edit" option. You will find colored boxes, with a title for each box, in the edit lead popup window 

Here is a title-wise classification of the leads.

  1. The green color is for "New" leads that are recently generated.
  2. The blue color indicates leads are "Cold" and are not responding promptly to any further communication from the business.
  3. The orange color signifies leads "Warm" that are responding with moderate enthusiasm to communication from the business.
  4. The red color is for leads "Hot" who are interested and highly likely to book an appointment with the business.
  5. The violet box titled "Won" with the symbol of a trophy is for leads that have converted into confirmed bookings.
  6. The black box titled "Dead" with the danger symbol denotes leads that were generated but did not book an appointment and are not responding to any communication from the business.
  7. The grey box titled "Junk
  8. The yellow box titled "Pending"




There are 3 ways to change the lead statuses.


Method 1:


STEP 1

To change the status of any of your leads, click on the lead. As an example, we will change the status of the second lead in the list. Once you click on the lead, its details will open up. Check the below images.




 

As you can notice, the green box is marked in the above image, indicating that this is a new lead.

STEP 2

To change the lead status, click on a box suited to the present condition of the lead. Here we will click on the green box to change the lead status to "Won" as an example. A dropdown will appear with several statuses; there we need to click on the violet box. You will see that a violet box is selected instead of the green one.




STEP 3

Click on the "Leads" option from the main menu of the panel and check the list of your leads once again. You will notice that the status of your lead has changed from "New" to "Won". A violet-colored box now appears ahead of the name of the lead, instead of the previous green box.




Congratulations! You have successfully changed the status of your lead. 


Method 2:


STEP 1

To change the status of any of your leads, click on the 3 dots to the right side of any lead under the "Actions" menu and click on the "Edit" option. As an example, we will change the status of the second lead in the list. Once you click the "Edit" option there, a pop-up box will open up, check the image below.



As you can notice, the orange box is marked in the above image, indicating that this is a Warm lead.

STEP 2

To change the lead status, click on a box suited to the present condition of the lead. Here we will click on the violet box to change the lead status to "Won". You will see that a checkmark now appears on the violet box instead of the orange one; now save it.

STEP 3

Click on the "Leads" option from the main menu of the panel and check the list of your leads once again. You will notice that the status of your lead has changed from "Warm" to "Won". A violet-colored box now appears ahead of the name of the lead instead of the previous orange box.



Congratulations! You have successfully changed the status of your lead. 


Method 3:


STEP 1

To change the statuses of your leads in bulk, select the leads. As an example, we will change the statuses of the first two leads in the list. Once you select the leads, the Update Status button will appear and all the statuses will open up. Check the below images.





STEP 2

To change the lead statuses, select a status suited to the present condition of those leads. Here we will click on the Warm status to change the selected lead statuses to "Warm" as an example. You will see that an orange box is selected instead of the old one.



Congratulations! You have successfully changed the status of your lead.
