What do I do if the oxygen flow meter is not working?
If the bead in the oxygen flow meter is not moving, follow the troubleshooting steps below:
- Turn on the unit
- Ensure the oxygen flow meter is fully open
- Attach external oxygen source
- Gently knock on the oxygen flow meter
If the bead is still not properly moving up and down, you will need to check the tubing connection inside the unit
- Turn off unit and disconnect unit from power
- Open the unit
- Check to ensure the tubing is connected on the oxygen flow meter (see Internal Tube Connection video below)
- Check to ensure the tubing is connected to the oxygen port (see Internal Tube Connection video below)
- If the tubing is disconnected, reconnect tubing
- Close the unit and connect the unit to power
- Turn on the unit
- Ensure the oxygen flow meter is fully open
- Attach external oxygen source
- Test that bead in the flow meter is now moving
