What should I do if I spill water on the unit?

The Pumani is designed to withstand typical volumes of water spillage.

If you do spill water on the unit, first, immediately turn of the unit and place the patient on another Pumani unit or on oxygen treatment.

Second, wipe up any external water on top of the unit, around the unit, or in the bottle holder.

Third, open the unit and use a clean towel to dry any water inside of the unit. Make sure to not damage or displace any tubing or wiring inside the unit.

When you’ve confirmed that all of the spilled water has been removed inside and outside of the unit, you can close the unit and turn the unit on. You may need to refill the bottle to the correct pressure level.
