Handling your Booking Requests

By default, your account is set up so that you must Approve or Decline each booking request within a time frame of 48hrs. after receiving it. If no action is taken on your part, the booking request will 'expire' and the money held for the booking will be 'released' back to the guest to be used for another booking request.

Once you receive a booking request from a guest, a message thread is started between you both to discuss details about their stay, hosting details, key transfers, etc. 

During the 48hrs. you're expected to:

  1. Review the guest's information (eg. profile, travel purpose, tot. guests, etc.)
  2. Check your availability in your calendar
  3. Approve or Decline their booking request
You can extend the 48hrs. expiration window by adding 12, 24 or another 48hrs. if you need more time to decide, check with roommates, etc.
