I have a booking coming up soon. What should I do?
If you have a booking coming up soon in the current Coronavirus pandemic, first of all do not panic. Human Hotel is doing everything in its power to keep its community members safe given the current emergency circumstances, while also preventing you from losing the amount you spent on your booking.
Indeed, if the host's home country has a partial or complete travel ban at the time of cancellation, we are providing all guests with a 100% refund, as well as no account penalties for hosts who decide to cancel. All these provisions are applied on all eligible bookings, no matter how long ago they were planned. Once the host's country travel ban has been lifted, the booking's cancellation policies revert back to the host's chosen policy.
If you still want to travel under the current circumstances, please be very careful to evaluate the current situation before taking any rash decision. Moreover, make sure to check your local government's policies and tips on travel and engaging in public life. COVID-19 is still rapidly spreading and very easily contagious.
