To protect sellers and owners, buyers must pay for their items before arranging pickup. If the buyer decides not to keep the item when they arrive and see it in person, they can request a refund by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Our refund policy can be found here.
What if buyers want to pay with e-transfer?
Buyers can now pay via e-transfer - it's an option on the cart and will walk them through the process. Note that (like with a credit or debit payment) they will be sending the e-transfer to HYON directly, and not to the seller.

As a seller, do I have to give out my home address to owners and buyers?
You can provide your address to owners to drop off items and buyers to pick up. But if you are not comfortable giving out your home address, you can meet at a public location to make the item exchange.
