What are the computer requirements for Virtual Tech Camps?

For most of our courses, students will need a Windows or Mac computer with audio and video capabilities. If your child will be using a Chromebook, the following courses can be run on Chromebooks:
  1. Coding with Scratch and VEX Virtual Robotics
  2. Digital Wizardry: Creating Art and Audio
  3. Python Coding: Arcade Game Design
  4. Coding Games: JavaScript and P5
  5. Python Coding: Arcade Games and AI
  6. Coding Apps with Java
  7. Coding Apps & Games with C++
We also recommend the following for the best experience:
  1. A relatively recent computer/processor from the past 5 years
  2. A solid-state hard drive and 16GB of RAM (8GB can work, but it can also run into some issues and occasionally be a little slow)
