iD Tech Camps

How do you ensure student safety?

Risk Management is of the utmost importance to iD Tech.

We follow all American Camp Association (ACA) guidelines at each of our summer camps.
Criminal background checks, sexual offender checks, and personal and professional references are mandatory for all staff members. We regularly evaluate our instructors to make sure our high standards are met.

Trains, planes, and automobiles deliver staff to required regional training sessions prior to the start of each camp season. The well-being of our students and staff is worth the extra miles. It equates to peace-of-mind for parents.
Each program location has a Director and staff members who are CPR & First-Aid certified. Should there be an emergency, our staff is aware of the proper actions to take, as well as nearby medical facilities.

All iD Tech programs adhere to the “Rule of Three,” ensuring that there are always at least three people in a room, or that staff and students are in sight of others at all times.

The “Rule of Three” encompasses the following:

            • Staff members will never be alone with a student. There must always another staff member or student present.

            • If a student requires attention in a private area due to sickness, injury, or another issue, there must be two staff members present.

            • In all other instances, staff members must interact with students within viewing distance of another staff member, another student, or the rest of the group.
