"Multiple Tabs Open" Error in Clinical Portal

"Multiple Tabs Open" Error in Clinical Portal

The Clinical Portal has security features in place to prevent logging in to it in multiple browsers. When you receive a "Multiple Tabs Open Error" even though you don't have a session open in another browser, this is due to the cookies on your computer.

To fix this on Google Chrome:

1.) Click the three help dots at the top of your screen, next to your search bar

2.) Go in to your Settings

3.) Scroll down to "Advanced" to find "Clear Browsing Data"

4.) Be sure that everything is checked, and that the "Time Range" drop-down is set to "All time". Then click "Clear Data".

5.) Try again to log in to the Clinical Portal, you should have no problem. If the problem persists, please submit a ticket.

To fix this on Internet Explorer:

1.) Find the gear icon for Settings at the top of your screen and select "Internet Options" from the drop-down menu.

2.) In the window that pops up, under the tab "General" look under the "Browsing history" section. Make sure to mark the checkbox that states "Delete browsing history on exit" and then click "Delete".

3.) Try again to log in to the Clinical Portal, you should have no problem. If the problem persists, please submit a ticket.
