2019 GM IOU Navigation Splash Screen

2019 GM IOU NAVIGATION UPGRADE AFTER YOU INSTALL



After you install the IOU Navigation Radio. Shut the car off and get out of the vehicle and close the doors. Wait 2 minutes, for the vehicle to sleep.


Once you have waited the two minutes go back into the vehicle and you will notice that a blue bar will show up. This takes about 30 seconds, then the screen will go blank. This resets the radio back to factory settings and links up with your ONSTAR subscription.



You will notice that the logo will be a Cadillac splash screen. This is the default splash screen. Don’t worry it will come back up Chevy after you sleep your vehicle again ( Shut the car off and get out of the vehicle and close the doors), and you will than be able to proceed with the next step.


When you get to this screen, press the Not a Demo vehicle. Then you press the 3 boxes for check marks and press Continue. This will have your Navigation System call OnStar you can than just hit the end button. You will notice everything is at default.



Turn off your vehicle and let it sleep for 2 minutes again. You will notice you have the Splash Screen of the vehicle you are upgrading to NAV. Now you can play with your new Navigation System.


IF YOU MISS THESE FIRST STEPS DONT PANIC!

This will also happen automatically after the vehicle has gone through a few full sleep cycles (Being off, and left alone overnight).
