2019 Heavy Duty UAV or UAX Upgrade Climate issue
Since last year we've had an issue where a 2019+ Ram truck customer (who has installed either a UAV or UAX upgrade) increases or decreases their cabin temperature around 70-74 degrees the vehicle either goes full heat or full cold. This happens because it's not getting a reading from a cabin temperature sensor which is missing in trucks that does not have AUTO climate control from the factory.
The temporary fix, if you want to make the cabin cooler is to: Take the temp all the way to the LOW setting then back up to your desired temperature.
The temporary fix, if you want to make the cabin warmer is to: Take the temp all the way to the HIGH setting then back down to your desired temperature.
The permanent fix is to install a cabin temperature sensor which we now have a fix for, please reach our support team to get the cabin sensor.
