2019+ New Body Ram Power Folding Mirrors Hitting Glass
My Mirrors are hitting the glass on my window when they fold!
This is normal operation for the 2019 New body rams. In the below forum link you will see it is not only common, but apparently there is a very small bit of room that you should have. It looks like some people are putting index cards, or tape measures to double check this, but from what we can tell they will make a light tap noise on the initial fold, but are actually sitting just extremely snug to the window.
You are hearing the stopping noise of the mirrors, and not it actually hitting the glass despite what it sounds like it seems to be giving a lot of people the same indication.
