2019 Pacifica ESS Installation
You can simply remove the instrument panel with a pry tool as that is held on by retaining clips. You will be connecting to the plug where all your button controls are as this connection is keyed You can follow the installation for more information on how this product works although it will be a different vehicle shown.
At about 3:00 into the video
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Using trim tool or equivalent, carefully pry up on the edges of ICS (1) to disengage retaining clips. Disconnect the Electronic Shift Module (ESM) and ICS wire harness connectors.
