Jeep Spare Tire Camera Reverse Image

Jeep Spare Tire Camera Reverse Image

If you have a camera where the left side of the screen is showing the right side of the vehicle the camera is most likely configured for front facing camera.

To reverse the image to rear view, and also have your grid lines appear you will need to cut the white, and green wires that are located near the first black connection on the camera. If you start from the camera, and follow it down the wire you should see these wires shortly before you reach that first black connection.

Grid line options: Default setting is to display grid lines. To remove the grid line display, connect the two green wires near the end of the camera harness.

Display options: (Not to be used in this application!) Default setting is mirror image display for rearward facing camera (rear view) installation. To change to non mirror image for forward facing camera (front view) connect the two white wires near the end of the camera harness.

This also depends on the way the camera was manufactured. Some of the newer models do not feature those loops. In this case, the customer can reach out to Brand Motion for further assistance. We have worked with them before in this case, and they asked us to direct any such cases over to them.
