"I wanted to pass on the resolution to my issue of Android Auto not coming up when I connected my Note 10+ to the new media hub. 
The resolution was to downgrade the most current version of Android Auto to the prior version of 5.0.500214-release. This resolution was found in the Android community forum. It was an APK file the you download and it uninstalled the current AA version and installs the prior version. You restart your phone, plug in your phone via USB media hub and the AA icon pops up and your good to go. Works like a charm. "
