"SD Card Not Compatible"

First, verify that the map card is the correct year for the vehicle. If it is, the map card might need to be made "virgin" again. The vehicle's VIN number is written to these cards when they are inserted. To reset the card follow the below instructions and see the attached file.

Instructions: 

1. Download the ZIP file I attached to this email or the previous email. 

2. Right click on the ZIP file and then select extract files or unzip. 

3. Open the unzipped folder and you will see a file called ".vin_check.data" 

4. Remove the Map Card from your vehicle and insert it into your computer. 

5. Click on My Computer, then double click on the Map Card to open it. 

6. Open the folder "TelenavMapData". 

7. Open the folder "vinData". 

8. Delete the one or two files inside the vinData folder. 

9. Copy the file I sent you called ".vin_check.data" to the "vinData" folder. 

10. Go back to My Computer, right-click on the Map Card, and press Eject or Safely Remove. 

11. Wait a moment and then remove the SD Card.
